The Unconventional Tour 2008 is over. From late September through the Election, the Unconventional Tour made its way across America to help get out the vote, encourage participation in the political process, mobilize young and old alike to get involved, have fun, make some waves, and put the party back in politics! |

Compilation Album - Best Political Music Contest This is ongoing. To signup to participate, you can begin by filling out this form, and then signing up to join the Unconventional Ning Site where youu can upload your songs . For more information, check it out here. Artists who qualify will have their own artist page on the Unconventional Tour site, whether or not they are part of the touring group. Artists who are selected from the top choices from online polling and our judges will be part of the Compilation Album and DVD which will be promoted on the tour and online. There was a compilation CD given away free to winners of the Free Speech Contest |
Why "UNconvention"?
Whether Radical or Progressive, Libertarian or Green, Democrat or Republican, we want fair elections. We’re against wars based on lies. We want our votes to count. We want our Constitution and our civil liberties back. We want media to report the unbiased Truth. We don’t think torture is a family value. We can agree on these things. We’re in unconventional times, where it’s no longer just about party affiliation, left or right. We want a government that is accountable to “We the People”. Besides building a stronger grassroots network, our goal is to engage more people in the political process, because the power of our vote is real. We will help support and bring attention to actions and campaigns which will strategically create an coalition of opposition to any corrupt criminal cabal abusing power. Our country and our world deserve better.
